Math Academy

Summer doesn’t have to be a time of academic stagnancy; it can be a time for students to catch up and sharpen their skills. That is why the Summer Math Academy exists! Students are tutored three times per week between 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm for 45-minute sessions, working 1-on-1 with a tutor.

Youth Summer Arts & Culture Summit

A Black Youth Leadership Development Initiative

Gateway Educational Services was founded by two Black/African American women. Our Black Youth Leadership development program is dedicated to advancing the educational opportunities of Black youth in Santa Barbara County. This program integrates social & emotional development through arts and culture alongside academic achievement.

A day of arts, culture, leadership, and community sums up the Black Youth Leadership Summit. Founded in 2022 after Black parents and parents of Black children were looking for an intentional way to build community and start the school year with joy and belonging. We have partnered with local foundations and corporations to create a day of leadership and art workshops, as well as parent workshops to keep the community connected, informed, and empowered. (Grades 5-12)
